Next time you eat instant noodles, please don’t throw away the leftover soup. It can turn into a chawanmushi (an egg custard dish).

All you have to do is to mix the leftover soup and a couple of eggs together and microwave it for 2 to 3 minutes for 500W. It’s better to move the soup into a mug cup to avoid deformation of a container.

The recipe is easy, and you can try it with different flavors. This can fill the spot when you are feeling especially peckish.
