Have you tried Kotatsu before? Kotastu is a small table with a heating element under it and a quilt that goes over the table to keep the heat in. Kotastu is made for your body and feet, but here’s a genius setup for your icy hand when you are using a PC mouse in winter days.
Hang a net used for making tempura over a shelf. Then, put small hot water bottle (on top of the net, above the mouse). Cover the whole set with a proper/warm cloth. Mouse kotatsu is completed. My hand no longer got cold.
This special kotatsu for cold hand is invented by the Twitter user. First, you buy a small shelf at a dollar store (100 yen store), hang a net as a middle shelf, then put a hot water bottle on top of the net and cover the whole set with a blanket. Alternatively, find similar materials that can work the same way.
It’s pretty simple, don’t you think?
This can be made with cheap materials. Even though your homeland doesn’t have winter, if your hand is getting cold while working with your mouse, it’s worth trying.
