Everyone has these similar experiences during childhood, when parents restrict the time to play around, including to watch anime, read manga, or play games. However, there seem to be consequences waiting ahead depending on how strict the restriction is.
Seriously, because parents banned them from reading manga or watching anime did not go through the process when their peers, around the same age, got addicted to these things then gradually got bored and in the end changed their hobbies to the more appropriate ones, children start watching anime endlessly during adulthood when they have more free time and in the end, become the adults their parents didn’t want them to be…
Get it? If you are not allowed to watch anime or manga during your childhood, you are likely to get addicted to them when you get older.
“No manga or anime because parent don’t want their kid to be otaku”
Me: “Oh man”
“That son is now railroad otaku”
Me: “I knew it”
“He tells me to ban trains if I regret this”
Me: ”What goes around comes around”

This is so true. I have seen kids for such a long time, but I have never seen someone who did not follow this pattern.
That applies to snacks and fast food as well. Parents job is not to completely prohibit but to teach moderation.
Apparently, the same thing can apply to food.
What is your opinion about this?? What would you do when you have kids??
