It’s getting colder and colder approaching the end of the year in Japan. If the cold weather is getting you down or making your mood rather gloomy, here is a great soup recipe to warm you up.
This mum’s soup works wonderfully when you catch a cold.
You need an egg, half of an onion, 5cm of a ginger tube paste, 1.5cm of garlic tube paste, 300cc water, seasoning (mirin soy source or chicken stock)
Cook them in a pot and add starch with water to thicken.
I recommend you eat it before you go to bed.
This recipe is posted by an illustrator Unmemono Aya “Ayabutashokudo (Ayabuta kitchen)”. The combination of an egg, an onion, ginger and garlic would make you feel instantly warm and better!
The soup in the picture is seasoned with chicken stock, but you can use any other seasoning you like instead.
All of the ingredients can easily be found in your fridge. This is a fantastic menu for your dinner during winter.
