This Twitter user found a purple cauliflower in a supermarket. Later he was shocked to see the change in the color of the vegetable after cooking.
I thought boiling a purple cauliflower would bring out its color and make it more vivid. However, it turned into weird colors, and when I added sesame dressing, it went pink. Wow!

This is because of the cold weather. The polyphenol that is often in blue vegetables such as blueberries produces the purple color. The purple colored broccolis and cauliflowers are actually more nutritious.
