Japan’s famous fighting game, “Street Fighter” is earning respect not just in Japan, but in Wales, too.
Hey, Welsh people. What’s with the naming of the beer?
This Welsh beer, “Hadouken”, was exhibited at the Yokohama Beer Festival. On the display ad, it said, “We were inspired from a game that represents the 90’s”.
Didn’t they name this because it sounds like “Heineken”?
It’s just that the company likes “Street Fighter 2″.
I first thought it’s pronounced, “Ha-doo-ken”.
If it were from the 80’s, it would be named, “Hadouhou”.
(“Hadouhou” is the name of a weapon in the famous Japanese animation in the 80’s, “Battleship Yamato”)
There were many tweets reacting to the name of this beer.
The joystick command for doing “Hadouken” is printed on the label!
The command for “Hadouken” is printed on the label of the beer. Street Fighter fans would be overjoyed by this design.
The Welsh beer, “Hadouken” ’s label is the company’s way of paying homage to the game. On the display ad, it says, “Feel the combination of the 3 hops”. The taste of it is great and you would want some snacks to go with it.
Today’s beer. “A Tiny Rebel, Hadouken” from England!!
My favorite band, “HADOUKEN!”, is from England, too.
The game has so much influence on England.
When you drink it, there is a good bitterness that gets to you like a “Hadouken”!
It’s not just the naming that has a strong impact. So does the taste. Be sure to grab one when you find it!
